Risk disclosure.
Trading any financial instrument carries the risk of substantial capital loss. This page summarises the key risks of using XCopier. Read it in full before subscribing to a trader.
You can lose your entire trading capital.
Copy trading does not eliminate market risk. Past performance shown for any trader is not an indication of future results.
1. General market risk
All financial markets — forex, indices, equities, metals, cryptocurrencies and commodities — are volatile. Prices can move sharply against an open position in seconds. Losses can exceed the initial margin and, on certain instruments, exceed the account balance.
2. Past performance
Every metric displayed on a trader's profile (ROI, win rate, drawdown, equity curve, AUM) reflects historical results from that trader's broker account. Historical results do not predict, guarantee or imply future performance. A trader who returned +120% over twelve months may return −40% over the next twelve.
3. Leverage
Many MetaTrader brokers offer leverage of up to 1:500. Leverage amplifies both gains and losses. A 1% adverse market move at 1:100 leverage represents a 100% loss of margin on the affected position. We strongly recommend keeping your risk-per-trade setting in the conservative range (0.1% – 1.0% of equity).
4. Slippage & execution risk
Copied orders are routed to your own broker. Differences in broker liquidity, spread, latency and rejection logic mean your fill price will rarely match the source trader's fill price exactly. In volatile conditions slippage can be material.
5. Counterparty (broker) risk
Your trading capital is held by the MT4/MT5 broker you connected — not by XCopier. The solvency, regulatory status and order-execution quality of your broker are entirely outside our control. Choose a regulated broker and verify their segregation policy for client funds.
6. Solana / cryptocurrency payment risk
Subscription fees are paid in SOL on the Solana blockchain. The SOL/USD price can move materially between the moment you fund a deposit address and the moment your transfer confirms. Transactions on Solana are irreversible — once a transfer settles, neither XCopier nor any party can reverse it.
If you mistype a recipient address or send the wrong amount, the funds cannot be recovered. Always verify the deposit address shown in the subscription dialog before sending.
7. Smart contract & key custody
For payments made via "Transfer to QR" we generate a deposit Solana keypair for your account. The private key is encrypted at rest. While we follow industry best-practice cryptography (AES-256-GCM with a key derived from a secret outside the database), no system is immune to compromise.
8. Trader risk
Traders on the platform are independent operators. We verify their on-broker track record but do not employ, supervise, license or guarantee them. A trader may change strategy, blow up their account, stop trading, or behave in ways inconsistent with their public profile at any time.
9. Not investment advice
Nothing on this platform constitutes investment, legal, tax or accounting advice. We do not assess your financial situation, risk tolerance or suitability for copy trading. Consult a regulated financial professional before allocating capital.
10. Regulatory status
XCopier is a software tool. We are not a broker, a regulated investment adviser, an asset manager, a portfolio manager, a custodian or a payment institution. Use of the platform may not be legal in your jurisdiction — you are responsible for verifying applicable local laws.
